I.K.’s story is one example of how God is transforming young lives through Youth for Christ. I.K., finding out she was pregnant, and living with a harsh stepfather, was kicked out of her home. “At 16, feeling hurt and abandoned, all I really wanted was love and care,” I.K. said. “I’m a smart girl, you know? I love reading and had dreams of going to school, but with this drama, it seemed impossible. My head was everywhere and peace of mind was like this distant fantasy.”

Today, I.K. is back in school and her dreams are rekindled. “My journey from feeling abandoned to rediscovering hope is all thanks to the love and support I got from these amazing people. Now, I’m on my way to making my dreams come true, proving that no matter what, everyone deserves a shot at shining,” I.K. said.

Every day, we see God transforming young lives like I.K.’s. In Kenya and in over 100 nations around the world young people are experiencing the love of Christ and breaking free from hopelessness and stepping into brighter, hope-filled futures.
