Celebrating Transformations: Graduates Embark on New Journeys with Youth for Christ

In the spirit of celebration and gratitude, we are thrilled to share the accomplishments of our students across different Youth for Christ (YFC) programs in Slovakia and Lebanon. These milestones mark not just the completion of their courses but the beginning of a transformative journey in their lives, guided by faith and a commitment to serving God in their communities.

New Beginnings in Slovakia: The First Graduating Class of the New DNA Program

January was a month of joy and achievement for Youth for Christ Slovakia as we witnessed 76 students graduate from the first year of the New DNA program. This pioneering group embarked on an educational journey that spanned over 10 weekend sessions, featuring a unique blend of spiritual growth, personal development, and hands-on counseling experience.

The curriculum was designed to deepen their understanding of Christian counseling principles, equipping them with the tools to serve as main counselors, assistant counselors, and aides. An exceptional day dedicated to art and therapy with prayer offered them an opportunity to explore healing and self-expression through a spiritual lens. The program culminated in an intensive weekend where students stepped into the roles they had been preparing for, under the watchful eyes of experienced Christian counselors.

Reflecting on the five-day intensive, we are filled with gratitude for the dedication of our students and the guidance of the Holy Spirit throughout this journey. Their commitment to learning and serving as Christ’s ambassadors in the counseling field is a testament to the transformative power of faith-based education.

Empowering Women in Lebanon: Graduates of the Sewing Program at the VTP Centre

In Lebanon, the VTP (Vocational Training Program) centre of Youth for Christ celebrated a significant milestone with a group of graduating ladies from the sewing program. Over the past two years, these diligent students have committed themselves to mastering sewing techniques and skills, preparing them to step confidently into the world of employment.

The program went beyond vocational training, incorporating a mentoring program aimed at developing life skills and enhancing vocational abilities. Through this holistic approach, the graduates have not only honed their craft but have also grown spiritually, benefiting from the centre’s discipleship program.

As these talented ladies move forward, equipped with sewing equipment and a wealth of knowledge, they stand ready to explore employment opportunities in local shops or by working from home. We are excited to witness how their newfound skills, coupled with their faith, will open doors to new possibilities and enable them to make a positive impact in their communities.

Looking Forward with Hope and Faith

As we celebrate the achievements of our graduates in Slovakia and Lebanon, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness and the transformative power of His love. These programs are more than educational courses; they are journeys of faith, discovery, and empowerment.

We look forward with anticipation to seeing how God will work in and through these graduates as they embark on their new paths. Their stories inspire us all to pursue our calling with dedication and to trust in the Lord’s plan for our lives.

To our graduates, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and prayers for the journey ahead. May you continue to grow in your faith, serve your communities with love, and reflect the light of Christ in all that you do.

We invite you to join us in celebrating these milestones and to support our ongoing efforts to empower young people through faith-based education and vocational training. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of many, for the glory of God.
