Coachnet Training can make staff more effective in their ministries, and be a ministry in itself, helping young people find God's will for their lives.
In April, Youth for Christ Spain held a Stage 1 Coachnet Coaching Course.
Eight staff members participated in the course which was led by Regional Director, Allan Grier and Deputy National Director, Xavier Moron. There was a great spirit over two days, as the staff met, learned, and ate together. They listened carefully to the teaching and participated very well in the practical sessions. By the end they had learned how they could begin using the skills of coaching with other people.
Xavier qualified as a coach in 2016 and wants to see coaching develop in YFC Spain. He believes that it can make the staff more effective in their ministries, and be a ministry in itself, helping young people find God’s will for their lives.
There was other excitement, because on that same weekend Isaac and Jennifer Stough (daughter of Mark and Stephanie Dodrill) arrived from the USA to join the staff team! Isaac will become Director of the Open Space English Academy and Jennifer will focus on starting up a theatre ministry.
