“Zindagi Unlimited” Youth Festival: Festive, Inspirational & Life-changing

On the 28th of December 2010, as the city of Nagpur saw temperatures dropping, 870 young people from all over India prepared to feel the warmth of God’s love at St.Ursula High School – the venue for the National youth festival, ‘Zindagi Unlimited’.

The Curtain-Raiser, which saw delegates from over 40 Youth for Christ centers walk in with their very own creative banners, set the stage for the beginning of a whole new experience.

Specially and exclusively designed seminars helped build up various areas of spiritual dearth and the workshops that followed unleashed each one’s creative side.

Live music by renowned bands such as Vertical Reality, Life Café, SOTN, Astitva and Crossover got youngsters swaying to their beats, while the ‘After-glow’ events had people roaring in laughter, creating a truly festive atmosphere.

The speakers for the event, both young at heart, brought in the challenging yet soothing message of God’s irresistible and unchanging love. While Dr. Ajith Fernando’s study on the Book of Jonah opened new and deep insights for both the starter and the seeker, Rev. C. A. Benjamin’s messages echoed through the hearts of the broken, while strengthening the believer. An aggregate of 160 youth responded to the altar calls on the different days.

Though the experience ended on the 1st of January 2011, the memory was sure to linger on, in the hearts and minds of all who were a part of it, as young people testified that they were taking back much more than what they had signed up for. And God once again, in His own ingenious way, used four limited days to recharge young hearts with Life Unlimited.
