Bob Wielenga has recently joined the YFCI Global Fund Development Team.
Bob and his wife, Janet, met over 32 years ago while they were both on staff with Youth for Christ. Over the years their ministry has included the evangelism of countless teens, taking more than 10,000 people on short-term mission trips, disaster relief work, and community development work.
Most recently Bob has been teaching pastors and Christian leaders around the world how to raise funds within their indigenous culture through an understanding of Biblical stewardship. Bob is now using this passion for local fund development with the various national staff teams that comprise Youth for Christ International.
Bob will be engaging, equipping, and empowering indigenous YFC staff to reach even more youth for Christ in his new role heading up YFCI’s Global Fund Development Training.
Bob and Janet live along the beautiful west coast of Michigan and have a son and daughter-in-law in Texas and a daughter in Michigan.
