About Youth for Christ Croatia

After pioneering efforts in the mid 1990s, Youth for Christ Croatia was officially founded in 1997, just as the war in Croatia was ending. The team has always been led by national leadership and staff. Youth for Christ Croatia adapted and further developed various ministry models from other Youth for Christ national programs such as hosting Project Serve teams, Daniel Generation training for young/lay leaders, outreach in schools through drama ministry called SwitcH, and the interactive meditative outreach Labyrinth.

The small but mighty Croatian team almost immediately started focusing on developing unique and culturally relevant ministry models. These have had great success in reaching youth all over Croatia and in establishing Youth for Christ as one of the most creative and forward leaning ministries in the country. The programs and models include The Advent Labyrinth, The Stations of the Cross, and The Reformation Exhibition.

Youth for Christ Croatia is now undergoing an intense growth spurt: a local chapter is being opened in another city, a new SuperWoman ministry is starting nationally, and a multimedia studio ministry is being built and began operations during the COVID year. Youth for Christ Croatia is also providing leadership for pioneering and establishing Youth for Christ in neighboring countries.
