What a memorable time for EMENA YFC staff to have shared encouraging stories, miracles, God at work, but also struggles & difficulties.
From June 3-7, Youth for Christ held its triennial EMENA* Area Council with 80 colleagues from 27 countries in Czech at the YFC Immanuel Center. Participants sat together in a tent with flags from each country and a big poster with photographs and information about YFC work in different countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa*. Not only were they encouraged by the stories of God’s work in other countries, but they also took time to pray for each other.
A diverse program included more than 20 seminars. The Timothy Band led worship and Ad the Bruin was the main speaker. Saskia van Helden organized a prayer concert and led participants into prayer for the different nations.
