The Xnoizz Flevo Festival has meant a lot to thousands of young people for the past 35 years. Youth for Christ is grateful for the festival’s impact over its history, and for a new festival initiative.
Youth for Christ in the Netherlands is also grateful for the tremendous effort from its volunteers, sponsors and other stakeholders.
Youth for Christ in the Netherlands, in partnership with evangelical broadcasters JOP and EO, has been running the annual youth festival for 35 years. However, the board of the Xnoizz Flevo Festival regrets to announce that they have decided to quit the organization of the festival.
Organizers say falling attendance makes this decision necessary. This decrease is in line with a trend other youth festivals are also experiencing. After consultations with the three partners there was no possibility, within the framework of the current cooperation, to organize a financially healthy festival in 2013.
However, an initiative for a new youth festival in 2013 has begun. TV producer Aad Peters wants to establish a festival that provides a creative platform for Christian youth.
