God gripped Nick’s heart at a Youth for Christ community event when he was about 14.

Shortly after, Nick, along with some of his peers, became involved in a mentorship program where his mentor walked them through a lot of the issues they faced.

The same worker who put on that event is still, years later, involved in Nick’s life. Nick says his youth leader took him under his wing and taught him to be authentic.

Watch this video of Nick, as he expresses his thankfulness to his mentors for modeling a Christlike life, and teaching him by example to love his family and the people around him, which he says “leaves me wanting to do the same.”
