After receiving the Lord as his Savior at the age of 15, Xavier felt led to work with young people. He has spent his career to this point serving and leading in a school setting as a teacher, principal and school administrator. His passion is to impact the lives of young people in a way that inspires them to better their communities, helps them to find their identity in Christ, and challenges others to change their lives as well.

In 2019, Xavier began serving on the Board of Directors for Youth for Christ Puerto Rico. Since that time he has served as the Board Chair and also in an operations position for the day-to-day ministry.
