Lyndal Walker

Lyndal Walker is the International Prayer Director for Youth for Christ International. She has had a passion for prayer ever since seeing the Transformations videos as a young adult, desiring to see transformation of whole communities through the gospel. For ten years she lived and worked in the Top End of the Northern Territory, Australia, mainly with First Nations youth in a variety of capacities, including chaplaincy, teaching, house parenting and prison ministry. In 2016, Lyndal completed her masters of education researching the perspectives on education of disengaged First Nations youth. In 2021, she released her first book “Intimacy, Intercession and Increase: A 31-day adventure with Jesus to explore a life of prayer,” a devotional written for youth and young adults.

She worked as the National Prayer Coordinator for Youth for Christ Australia for two and a half years before transitioning to the international role. Her journey with Youth for Christ began in 2015 with a desire to see young people walking in their true identity in Christ and living a life of intimacy with Him. She believes young people can become lifelong disciples of Jesus, living in the freedom and power of the gospel and bringing the kingdom “on earth as it is in heaven.”

Lyndal uses her gifts for Youth for Christ International to strategise and implement prayer initiatives, mobilise prayer, train and equip volunteers in prayer, develop resources and of course pray.
