Elictia Hart

Elictia Hart is raising funds to be the global Director of Communications and Marketing for Youth for Christ International, where she will be leading the organization’s public relations, marketing, and communications strategies. She will be overseeing all official communication channels to enhance brand recognition and maintain a robust public presence. Internally, Elictia will ensure that Youth for Christ International’s global staff and leadership remain informed and connected. She is committed to highlighting how Youth for Christ fulfills its mission, spearheading initiatives such as fundraising and recruitment, and elevating the organization’s visibility as it reaches and transforms the lives of young people worldwide with the Gospel.

In addition to her new role with Youth for Christ International, Elictia and her husband have served as senior pastors of a thriving church in Omaha, Nebraska, for more than 15 years. Prior to this,  Elictia spent nearly 20 years as an award-winning television journalist, working for CNBC, Entertainment Tonight, and various network affiliates, including ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX. Her passion for sports led her to ESPN and FOX Sports Networks. In 2018, Thomas Nelson published her book “Redefining Red: Turning Your Red-Light Moments into Green-Light Victories.”

Elictia graduated with a “Very High Honors” distinction from Oral Roberts University, earning a Master’s in Christian Ministry. She is currently an adjunct professor for graduate programs at ORU. She also completed her Doctorate in Theology and Ministry (DMin) from Duke University, where her dissertation focused on ways the church can effectively engage Gen Z and Millennials. Dr. Hart is thrilled to be joining the Youth for Christ International team serving youth worldwide.
