Claire Russell

Claire Russell grew up in a small farming town in central Minnesota with a unique passion to serve the people of Ireland. In 2011 she graduated from North Central University with a degree in Intercultural Studies. She spent the next few years teaching kindergarten aged students both in the United States and Korea. Upon her return to the U.S., she began training in the tech industry. Throughout this time, Claire visited many European and Asian countries. Each time the Lord affirmed her call to Ireland and directed her steps to Youth for Christ.

Shortly after her arrival in Ireland, the country shut down due to COVID-19. However, that hasn’t stopped the Lord from working. Claire has the incredible privilege of taking girls from a local school through a leadership programme online. She also hosts students from Mullingar schools for Youth Alpha which is one of her passions.

Due to the need of online resources, Claire is also able to create lesson plans, training materials, and curriculum to accompany new projects the team pioneers. This part might sound boring, but she’s a nerd so she absolutely loves it!
