Meeting Needs in Ukraine

Every other month, Youth for Christ hosts a digital EMENA meeting with the National Director from Ukraine and the colleagues from the neighboring nations who are involved in ministry with Ukrainian refugees.

Some of the biggest challenges at the moment in Ukraine are the lack of electricity, heating and food. YFC is helping the Day Care Centers with these. It’s encouraging to hear how the Day Care Centers have become a place of light and warmth in their neighborhoods- literally and spiritually.

On www.yfcbox.com, there are great church resources available, shared in the Ukrainian and Russian languages. Many nations are using this already for their work with with young refugees.

Youth for Christ Moldova is running a refugee center with 30 beds, is involved in trauma care and preparing for teams to come and help during summer time. Also Youth for Christ Hungary is supplying food and others and are even travelling into Ukraine to help people who do not have warm clothes and others.
