Youth for Christ in Ghana recognizes the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. They’re getting creative about how to address the shortage of people trained to minister to young people in their schools ministry.
Teachers, as well as students, responsible for school worship are receiving Chaplaincy Training. In Tema and Cape Coast, 16 school chaplains have been trained so far. Training focuses on Youth Evangelism, Counseling, Discipleship and the use of the Reach4Life Bible.
Over 40 teachers have been empowered to assist YFC Chaplains and volunteers in Ghana’s G21 Clubs. Continue to pray that the Lord of the harvest will send adequate support to motivate and sustain the weekly outreach in this African nation.
