A Strong Team in Spain

“Pass on what you heard from me… to reliable leaders who are competent to teach others” – Paul’s advice to Timothy in II Tim. 2:2, The Message

Currently on home assignment away from their usual leadership roles with Youth for Christ in Spain, missionaries Mark & Stephanie Dodrill have been to ten
different cities and slept in as many places. They are especially thankful to God that they are able to be away so long because of the competent staff to carry on ministry in their absence.

Xavi Moron came on staff several years ago (2013) leaving his job as a high school science teacher to become Mark’s assistant director. His wife Alicia joined the staff of Youth for Christ in Spain full-time one year later and works as their administrator.

Joel Tiscar joined Youth for Christ full-time in 2011 to head up the pre-adolescent ministry as well as Spain’s training school. He also has a counseling ministry at the center as he is a trained psychologist. He is married to Celeste, whom he met at YFC’s Creative Camp, and she is an active volunteer in the weekly street ministry.

David Tomasetti joined Youth for Chriit in the fall of 2015 part-time as worship and youth leader for adolescents’ groups. His wife Lidia also joined staff this fall.

The team also recently welcomed Zach Baldridge as a short-term volunteer from January 17th to April 11th. He has had lots of experience in Youth for Christ clubs in Huntington, Indiana and will also help teach English classes.

All of the staff participate in camps and retreats and are qualified to teach at training courses. The team looks forward to adding a qualified Director for the English Academy in the near future.

The capable team of ministry leaders in Spain keeps things running smoothly while their directors return to the U.S. on home assignment.
