Lebanon Launches Prayer Initiative

From Lindy-Ann Masri, Ministry Coordinator

We have started a prayer initiative we are calling “We Cry Out”, every Thursday from 6 to 8pm Lebanon time.

These two hours each week, the Youth for Christ office is open for any who want to join us in praying for our young people, for Lebanon, for the church, for Youth for Christ, and what ever else God puts on our heart.

As office staff we have been burdened to see God pour out His spirit on us, Youth for Christ’s ministry, the church in Lebanon and on the whole country. Particularly in the past couple of weeks, as we have gone through political turmoil and unrest, and people have been fearful or anxious about the future, we see the need for the power of the Spirit to be at work in this nation. Our desire is for God’s people to come in repentance and humility, calling on the name of the Lord together until we see Him changing us, and through us, this country.

We have been convicted that only by faithful, intentional crying out to God in repentance and humility, will we begin to see the power of His spirit moving in our nation and in our ministry.

We have many friends outside of Lebanon who are joining us at this time to pray together and we would love to have any of the wider Youth for Christ family and friends who wish to join us.

To let Youth for Christ in Lebanon know that you intend to join them in prayer, fill out the form below:
