Part of the vision of Youth for Christ in Lebanon is to be peacemakers, reconciling two nations by bringing Syrian and Lebanese youth together. This goal can be accomplished through a drop-in centre where both groups can interact and encounter the love of Christ. Youth for Christ wants to support a new generation that will work to break stereotypes inherited from previous generations. This will challenge both Lebanese and Syrians to love each other and to let go of the bitterness towards one another.
As part of the YFC family, please pray for the opening of the Reconciliation Drop-in Centre in Beirut. The centre will provide education, recreation and spiritual programs for Lebanese and Syrian youth at risk in Lebanon.
