Youth for Christ in Mauritius recently started an outreach program targeting church youth groups for partnership and fellowship. Although the program was suspended temporarily because of COVID restrictions, we intend continuing it as soon as the COVID situation allows for us to have in person meetings.
The focus of this program is to increase our local reach to the youth, as we share the unique ministry model of YFC with churches who do not have a clear ministry program for their young people. During our first successful meeting, participants became more aware of YFC’s way of entertaining the youth with strong Bible based activities which focuses on Evangelism and discipleship and goes beyond the classical church activities.
This meeting was well received and it has also helped our young leaders to show their leadership skills on how to be in line with the Gospel and youth expectations for the present generation.
This is a very good start for outreach program.
