In February Youth for Christ in El Salvador celebrated Valentine’s Day in the group “Enlightened by Jesus,” supported in association with “Hannah’s Hands.”
In El Salvador, Valentine’s Day is celebrated on February 14th, but the staff decided to celebrate one day before and share some delicious pupusas – a typical Salvadoran food.
Twenty-six youth attended, and leaders taught them about making treasures in heaven. Later, attendees played “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” with questions from the Bible. The event made for a fun afternoon including spiritual growth.
