Youth for Christ in Lebanon partners with the Near East Initiatives youth arm, Katalyst, who engage youth in the region by training, mobilising and encouraging volunteer youth workers from local churches and organisations.
“Katalyst Beirut” is a large training for volunteer youth workers from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan & Iraq. From the 5th – 7th of February, over 100 youth workers from these regions gather(ed) in Beirut for a time of worship, prayer, practical workshops and general sessions that will encourage them to reach out to their communities from many different faith backgrounds.
Please pray:
- for youth workers to be encouraged to reach out to their communities & mobilise their youth to do likewise with their friends.
- for the youth workers coming from places in Syria & Iraq to attend. Many of them will have to pass through conflict areas to attend Katalyst Beirut.
