Because of you…
The Youth for Christ ministry in Botswana was successfully re-pioneered in 2002. The national office is in Mochudi with two local centres – one being in the capital, Gaborone. Ten full-time staff and about 35 volunteers reach young people with the Gospel in schools, children’s Bible clubs, youth festivals, outreaches to remote areas, the Yarona teenage drop-in centre and Youth Alpha to name a few. Discipling is being done through personal one-on-one contacts, correspondence follow-up Bible studies, prayer opportunities and mentoring.
Prayer Needs
- Pray for the salvation of young people and spiritual growth of the youth
- The acceptance of the school presentations on HIV/AIDS and abstinence
- Provision of the finances needed to carry out the ministry projects
- Commitment of staff to finish the work
- For young people to change their ways and live committed lives
