Mission Trip, Summer Camps Bearing Fruit in India

B2W Summer Mission Trip

It has been yet another fulfilling month of ministry with B2W, the annual summer mission trip of Youth for Christ in India. One of the highlights of this year’s summer ministry was that India was able to send out a second team, ‘8’ (Ettu) under the leadership of Mr. Michael Raj, former staff of Youth for Christ and one of founding members of B2W.

The desire to send out a Tamil team is one the staff has had for a while now and by God’s grace it was possible this year. The English team was able to visit Bangalore, Salem, Chennai and Vizag while the Tamil team ministered in Hosur, Vellore, Tenkasi and Tirunelveli. Between the two teams there were a total of 80 concerts, reaching out to around 52,300 young people. The concerts were held at schools, colleges, churches and public venues.

The Lord also opened up ministry opportunities in the different cities in that many institutions have extended invitations to return to follow up with those who have made commitments.

India Youth for Christ would like to thank all the Youth for Christ local directors, staff and volunteers for their cooperation, support and hard work in helping with this year’s summer ministry. They also wish to thank all those who prayed and generously supported this ministry.

Please continue to pray for those who have been reached with the gospel and have made a commitment to follow Christ.
