On the 17th of November 2012, Sierra Leone is holding elections for president, parliamentarians, local council chair persons and city mayors. Youth for Christ in Sierra Leone is inviting friends around the world to pray with them for the peace of the Lord to reign during and after the election.

  • Pray that violence will not erupt and that the election result will be credible and acceptable to all.
  • Pray for the young people of this nation because at a time like this, they can be used as makers and breakers.

Youth for Christ is organizing an evening of worship on November 16th in the centre of town in Freetown, Sierra Leone:  the Cotton Tree. This will be a moment of getting young people to worship God and declare the presence of the Lord over this nation.

Thank you for praying with Sierra Leone as they embark on this journey for their land.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people he chose for his inheritance. – Psalm 33:12
