Just a few weeks ago, Youth for Christ in Mauritius held an inauguration ceremony for a new basketball/volleyball pitch to be used for underprivileged youths.
The event went really well. The town’s school basketball club dropped in prior to the one hour ceremony, where some of the young people demonstrated their faith through music, skits and messages. The ceremony gave the young people an opportunity to show representatives of the Government their support for the social action which has made their new programme possible.
Please continue to pray for this new ministry, which is a good catalyst to share the gospel among young students of deprived areas.
