Instead of YFC, the acronym for Youth for Christ, our brothers and sisters in Spanish speaking parts of the world are known as JPC (Juventud Para Cristo).
The leaders of JPC in Central America gathered together recently in Honduras for a time of training, evangelism and fellowship.
Attendees were trained and sent to accomplish the great commission by evangelizing young people. Speakers from the USA, Canada, Colombia and Honduras shared their knowledge on a variety of topics, including how to live and develop a passion for creatively sharing their faith in Christ with lost young people.
Other activities at the gathering included evangelizing in the streets. Staff went out to the nearest community to share The Gospel with the people that were around the Central Park, engaging passersby with music, skits, games for the little ones and God’s Word.
Staff who attended the four day event report many positive experiences living in community, sharing a variety of experiences and encouraging one another to continue sharing God’s Word with young people who do not know Him.
