INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT

Geordon RendleYouth for Christ is celebrating 70 years of history, of ministry, of building legacy and of growing the Kingdom of God through the lives of teenagers around the world. It is astonishing to realize that what has been accomplished thus far has been in response to the women and men of God who prayed forward, believing that the Lord would honor their earnest pleas for a generation. As you read the numbers, celebrate that by God’s grace and for His glory, YFC is the largest, faith and youth-based movement on the planet. But more importantly, rejoice that YFC gives evidence of the unconditional and merciful love of God for young people everywhere.

This year was one of significant transitions with David Wraight ably and humbly handing off the baton of the presidency. New Area Directors were appointed: Americas – Jose Carlos Gutierrez; Europe, Middle East & North Africa – Edward de Kam and Asia Pacific – David Bonanno. Africa continues under the capable and godly leadership of Hilary Lewis-Nicol. The Board offers governance oversight, the intercessory team – prayerful undergirding, and partners – financial sustenance. Youth ministry is team ministry and we thank you for your participation.

INTERNATIONAL BOARD CHAIR

Sam WolgemuthThe past year was especially significant as CEO David Wraight stepped down after 10 years of Godly leadership that brought renewed growth and vitality to the movement.  David and Jenny returned to Melbourne where he continues in Christian ministry. After a thorough, open and prayerful search the Board nominated Canadian Geordon Rendle to be YFCI’s new CEO, a choice that was overwhelmingly ratified by the nations. Geordon was the Americas Area Director before taking the reins. As we look to the future, we are more than ever committed to youth evangelism and know that with God’s continued blessing and your partnership the best years lay ahead.
