Driebergen Netherlands (January 30, 2015) – Bram Rebergen is the new National Director for Youth for Christ in the Netherlands. The board has appointed Rebergen April 1, 2015 to the role of National Director. Since 2008 he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors for Foundation Buoy, a Centre for welfare and relief in Spakenburg.
Bram Rebergen (1964) is no stranger to Youth for Christ as he has previously worked for Youth for Christ. As regional coordinator of the local work until 2005 and as program leader of the Flevo Festival. Ten years later he says of this new challenge: “I would like to commit wholeheartedly to the mission of Youth for Christ and work hard to make it happen, together with all staff and volunteers.”
The board believes that Bram Rebergen is the right person to work with the staff and volunteers to focus on the mission of Youth for Christ in the coming years. It is considered an important spearhead to bring youth closer to God.
Since 1946, Youth for Christ is searching out young people, helping them to grow and offering them hope. It does this in the Netherlands in schools, on the street and in the church.
