Training Youth Leaders

in Venezuela, Youth for Christ in doesn’t just talk about investing in young leaders. It’s doing it.

Believing that training and development of youth leaders is essential for transmission of Christian principles and values to the youth of Venezuela, Youth for Christ developed a series of training and support programs for the youth leadership of their nation.

The National Youth Leadership School (ENLJ) of Youth for Christ provides theoretical and practical training for Christian youth leadership. Having equipped over 550 youth leaders, with dozens of youth ministries in development, Youth for Christ is on the forefront of offering high level training for youth ministry.

The current agenda for the National Youth Leadership School includes:

  • 180 Hours of training
  • 13 Half-day meetings (9 AM. To 1 PM. / 2 per month)
  • Training Camp practice JPC “Leaving Traces”
  • Final draft of practical application
  • Defense of final project
  • Material support of each module
  • International certification, endorsed by 127 countries of Youth for Christ International
  • Mentoring Sessions

Program Directors Youth Training (PFCJ) offers a comprehensive theoretical training, focusing on Christian practices of youth ministry. The PFCJ is based on the philosophies of youth ministry and the “Matrix,” emphasizing the issues of sexuality, dating, family and peer relationships.  The PFCJ is a specialization for ENLJ graduates.  In another cases, participants may be nominated by pastors or directors.

The PFCJ includes six (6) sessions of theoretical and practical training at Camp JPC “Leaving Traces” 2010, supporting material for each module and International Youth for Christ Certification.
