On March 11&12, Youth for Christ in the Netherlands organized a big teen event: Stargames 2011.
Stargames offers an overnight program (21.30 pm – 6.00 am) full of fun and a challenging games circuit.
This event has been organized for many years now. 700 teenagers (age 11-14) and 150 youth leaders from different RockSolid/Rock Steadyclubs all over the Netherlands were gathered in a big sports hall for a night full of exciting team building activities.
The theme of the evening was “Lose Control”. After a smashing opening performed by the Youth for Christ theatre team “Switch,” the teenagers were ready to lose their control during the night. Besides eating chocolate cookies and chips, an assault course in the water, swimming inthe dark, wrapping up youth leaders with tape and pelting each other with balloons, the teenagers discovered that they could give their control over to Jesus Christ.
The teenagers and their youth leaders played, prayed had lots of fun together. With the help of 100 volunteers, Stargames 2011 was a great success.
