Youth for Christ in Poland started a new tradition in 2011 which they are planning to repeat this year: the Family Football Tournament.
Last year several dozen people from different congregations, towns and age groups spent a day together, sharing their joy and passion, playing football (soccer). The group also had a barbecue afterward.
There is a special programme for children, and some family members may choose to relax under a shade tree while cheering for their team. Water, sausage, barbecue equipment, awards and insurance (in case of accidents) are included in the entrance fee.
This year’s tournament is scheduled for May 26th.
