RUSSIA: St Petersburg
Last Friday was the opening of Youth for Christ’s music ministry in a secular night club. A YFC staff person there reported an attendance of around 200 people, many of whom were unbelievers.
Music ministry continued on Saturday at the Easter Festival – PASXA 2011. The third festival of its kind, the event went very well. The free music festival saw an attendance of around 400 people. Six rock and hip-hop bands, one dance team and Mime theatre inspired and entertained the crowd.
Most significant from the Easter Festival was that after the festival around 20 teenagers accepted Christ. The young new believers attended a small meeting after the festival with the youth pastor of 21-Century church.
