This year Youth for Christ in the Netherlands is celebrating 65 years of serving young people, and they have many special things planned, including a big party at Den Lindenhorst, their Headquarters in Driebergen, on April 25th. This will be preceded in March by the publication of a book by Ark Media entitled: “Rock ‘n Roll – 65 years on the move for Jesus and young people.”
They have also developed a new game for their Superwoman ministry, which is available for anyone to purchase. Below is a brief description.
Superwoman Theme Game
The superwoman Theme Game supports female professionals and volunteers with girls to talk about topics such as self-image, sex or emotions. The game includes six themes: self-esteem, relationships, healthy living, emotions, sexuality and future. The game lasts one and a half hours per subject and is suitable for two or more girls of twelve to eighteen years old. The game consists of: Tickets: 300 question cards (50 per theme), 50 picture cards and response cards, 3 Game Play Floor Booklets (theoretical background for the game leader).
Bible Bite
Besides the superwoman Theme Game is an additional booklet available for girls in the Church: Bible Bite. In a surprising way, girls discover that the Bible life lessons are the themes of the superwoman theme game.
