An ongoing Discipleship and Mentorship program for young adults started in 2008 in Burundi, East Africa, that aims at equipping the participants in Leadership, Spiritual & Personal Development, Ministry, Social and Life skills. Each of the leaders are handpicked from various Youth for Christ programs; halfway through the process they introduce their mentees to the program. At the end of two years each young leader is expected to be a person of integrity, be in a leadership role within Youth for Christ and serving and influencing their community for Jesus Christ.
The first class of nine leaders recently graduated and three of the graduates: Leila, Jean Paul and Alice left for an academy in the United Kingdom for a two year Theology degree course.
A second group of nine leaders have begun the two year process.
