Youth for Christ in Britain just completed their annual Conference, with about 350 staff, volunteers and Board members at Bodelwyddan Castle in North Wales. Dr Steve Brady, Principal of Moorlands Bible College, gave the morning Bible studies, and speakers included Rachel Gardner of Romance Academy, a British initiative aimed at helping young people to take responsibility for their own bodies and sexuality. Other visiting speakers included Eddie Lyle from Open Doors, and Ruth Valeiro from A Rocha.
Shown in the photos at right are National Director Gavin Calver and National Board Chairman Ken Wright, who work together extremely well and, with the help of a small army of staff and volunteers, delivered an inspiring and bonding Conference which seemed to be appreciated by all; Liz Atherton of the HQ office in Halesowen, flanked by John Gibson and Lyndsay Smith of Chislehurst YFC; and Rachel Gardner speaking.
Staff of Youth for Christ in Britain go into this year inspired to serve God and reach many more young people with the Good News of Jesus.
